Sunday was the perfect bright and sunny day to sell lemonade! The whole community was either selling or buying lemonade, but the fun is not over yet...

Now it is time to submit your stand pictures and Most Successful Business Form to compete in the remaining two Lemonade Day Contests!  Deadline is May 22!

Lemonade Day is a FUN, FREE, community wide, educational initiative where KIDS learn to start, own and operate their own business.  Kids of all ages learn to set goals, develop a business plan, establish a budget, seek investors, provide customer service, and give back to their community.

Kids register, with a caring adult, and receive a bright yellow backpack which contains an entrepreneur workbook for the child and a caring adult guide!  The entrepreneur workbook contains 14 lesson plans, to help the child reach their goals.

Lemonade Day involves the entire community

• We partner with Youth Organizations, Schools, Churches and Businesses to register kids for Lemonade Day and to help distribute backpacks.
• Volunteers are needed to stuff backpacks, distribute the backpacks, and to sign kids up at numerous events throughout Griffin.
• Sponsors and Donors are needed to help with the costs.
• Customers buying lemonade is another great way to help out.
